Welcome to West Coast Adult Riding Club

Westcoast adult riding club was established initially in Werribee in 1981, the same year that the HRCAV was formed laterwas relocated to Lara in 1989. Our club grounds are situated at Elcho park corner of Elcho Road.

We are a friendly club, which has a membership of 70 +. We cater for riders from the more nervous & inexperienced, right up to the more serious competitors. Our rallies are on the second Sunday of every month. With lessons starting at 10am, 1115 & 1315.
Throughout the year we hold a dressage day, horse trials, combined training day & a show/showjumping day.

Lessons consist of Flat, Showjumping from beginner to advanced, and we also offer cross-country lessons as well, which always gives the instructor a lovely long walk (greatly appreciated). Our cross-country course offers a great variety of challenging jumps from levels 5 through to level 1 to wet any rider’s appetite. We have 8 fully surfaced professional dressage arenas, which are fabulous to ride on, as well as a large sand showjumping arena.

Plenty of parking is available with also in excess of 100 yards to use.
Our new clubrooms are currently being built with a 2-storey facility, which will give a bird’s eye view of the grounds. We will be sharing these facilities with Corio-Moorabool pony club.
