Westcoast ARC was originally named Werribee ARC and was formed in 1981, the same year that the HRCAV was formed.  The club was based at Blackforrest Road, Werribee until 1989 when it relocated to Elcho Park at Lara.

WARC  won TTT Dressage in 1988 and held the TTT Dressage competition at Elcho Park in 1989.

Full membership is available to riders and non riders from 16 years of age. Junior membership is available to 13 to 15 year olds as long as a parent or guardian is also a member and is present when the junior member is at Rally.

Club membership usually stands at about 90-100 members with riders of all levels attending rallies and competitions.

Some members prefer to only ride at rallies whilst other members regularly travel and compete in competitions.

A club newsletter is sent to each member prior to each rally usually by email. The newsletter will contain rally booking information, competition results and/or other club information. Contributions from members are always welcome. Newsletter editor contact details are included.
